We are a student-run organization dedicated to serving and helping under-privileged and under-served youth and their communities. Through presentations, medical examinations, outreach activities, and more, we aim to address childhood malnutrition, visual health, oral health, and cardiac health. We strive to provide the support and resources needed to foster long-term well-being for those who might otherwise go without.
Junior Care Clinic serves Bay Area communities through specialized committees that directly interact with the community.
Medical
Vitals-reading and CPR training gives our members the ability to work at free clinics, giving readings and medical recommendations to community members.
Public Health
Our partnership with BCH Oakland & WIC support monthly food and diaper drives. Members lead nutrition & mental health workshops, lessons, and activites at ROOTS clinic and local schools.
Vision
Each member is armed with vision screening and eye health education. We provide screenings for children in local elementary schools and deliver eye health presentations to the community.
Dental
We offer dental hygeine workshops and manual dexterity training. They also Members assemble "Dental Essential Bags" for underserved communities and volunteer at La Clínica Dental, gaining real-world experience in community dental care.
We are no longer accepting applications this semester (of Spring 2025). Stay tuned for future semesters!
